They both checked the
flop, before de Mel bet 5,000 on the 
turn. Mr. S.T.B.B. shoved, de Mel snap-called, and the cards were flipped.De Mel:
Actually, the cards weren't quite flipped. Mr. S.T.B.B. mucked his hand as soon as he saw de Mel's, and although he should have been made to turn them over anyway, they'd hit the muck and been lost before anyone could do anything, and de Mel took the pot. De Mel, incidentally, was at this point on the phone to his nephew, who's had a birthday. Happy birthday, young de Mel.
Mr. S.T.B.B. did have some change, but he got it in the very next hand and exited shortly thereafter. De Mel is up to around 150,000.
