Stepanians Flopped Full House Doubles Up Against Seires Flush

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

It began with a modest raise to 1,800 from Marius Kudzmanas in middle position. Wladimir Stepanian called in the hijack, as did Casimir Seire in the big blind.

All three players checked the 4?3?3? flop.

On the Q? turn, Seire bet 4,500. Kudzmanas folded, but Stepanian called.

The 8? river brought another bet of 5,500 from Seire. After thinking it over, Stepanian shoved all in for 21,500. Seire quickly called after checking his cards, showing 10?7? for a flush. However, Stepanian revealed 4?4? for a flopped full house, securing both the double-up and a nice pot.

Navarro Calls Down Simon

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Lucia Navarro
Lucia Navarro

Lucia Navarro opened to 1,600 from the hijack and Gilles Simon three-bet to 5,400 from the small blind. Navarro made the call.

The flop came A?J?6? and Navarro called a 2,600 continuation bet from Simon.

Simon fired a 4,500 bet on the 2? turn which was called by Navarro.

On the 4? river Simon shoved for 15,700. Navarro, who covered him by 300 chips, made the call.

"Good call" Simon told his opponent, showing K?10? for a missed gutshot turned into a bluff. Navarro turned over top pair with A?Q? to score a full double up while Simon was sent to the rail.

Hallabro's Aces Trap Backfires

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Yannis Berrandou raised to 1,200 from under the gun and Lars Romundstad three-bet to 3,700 in the hijack. Marcus Hallabro called on the button, and Berrandou also called.

On the Q?3?6? flop, Berrandou checked and Romundstad bet 6,300. Hallabro then shoved, Berrandou folded, and Romundstad called.

Marcus Hallabro: A?A? All in
Lars Romundstad: A?K?

Hallabro had laid the trap with aces but it didn't work out as he was left drawing dead after the 4? fell on the turn, which improved Romundstad to an unbeatable flush. A meaningless 3? completed the board, and Hallabro was eliminated.
