Rather a weird hand just before the break. A player in early position raised to 400 and Clonie Gowen called from the cutoff. The flop came , the original raiser checked, Gowen bet 600, her opponent check-raised to 1,500, and Gowen reraised to 3,500. The other player then turned over his cards, showing two Aces, and said, "I'm pretty much all-in anyway" and announced that he called.
Thing is, you can't expose your cards like that, and Gowen would've been within her rights to ask that the other player be penalized. But she didn't press the issue, and after the hit on the turn, the poker gods smiled down and presented Gowen with the on the river, winning her the pot. She now has 13,000.
